District Mission Development Plan

As we strive to become inclusive and achieve justice, the District are establishing a Justice, Dignity and Solidarity (JDS) Group.  The Group will develop the District’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) plan.  As part of this plan, we have identified five key priorities for action:

• Communicate the District EDI plan and ensure that EDI and the JDS Strategy are prioritised throughout the District
• Ensure training is provided to meet the needs of the church within the District
• Arrange chaplaincy for all EDI meetings and events
• Develop a working expertise with all aspects of the Strategy for Justice, Dignity and Solidarity
• Review the work of the JDS Group and set future priorities

The District also has a World Church Group for ministers who have an overseas heritage.  The full Terms of Reference for each group and the role descriptions of the positions (can be found here)
